ariadna gironès mata

(she/her) is an artist originally from Barcelona, who has worked both on stage and on camera, in dance and circus, creating, performing, and as a dance educator and choreographic assistant. She views dance as an instrument of self-reflection and exploration.

She began classical ballet at the age of four and later completed her studies at SEAD. Following her graduation, she joined the young company Bodhi Project and she was involved in a research project with Wim Vandekeyvus.

Throughout her career, she has performed and collaborated with companies such as Geko, ErrequeErre, Tom Dale, Motionhouse, Damien Jalet, Backsteinhausproduktion, Voetvolk/Lisbeth Gruwez & Maarten Van Cauwenberghe, Julien Grosvalet, Alexander Vantournhout, and Les Argonautes. She has also worked in circus disciplines like Chinese pole with Cie Lady Cocktail and Primavez Collectif.

Her current  work is a research in theories of non-duality and their transposition on stage. Through the exploration of different philosophical and  conceptual lenses (psychological, sociological, political) and tools of expression (dance, circus, theatre, visual arts) she is currently leading her first solo piece, So?!What
