(IN)TENSION LAB
This workshop is rooted in my solo project So?!What, which explores the transformation of the body and the constraints—both visible and invisible—that shape the way we move. Together, we will enter a space of experimentation, where restriction becomes a tool rather than a limitation.
Using physical limitations—both self-imposed and externally applied—we will investigate how restriction can generate new movement qualities. Through guided improvisation and research with various materials, we will explore how these constraints affect not only the physical translation of movement, but also our internal landscape: how we feel, resist, surrender, and evolve within them.
This is a movement laboratory where bodies and minds are invited to question, reconfigure, and expand their pathways. A space for dancers to dive deep into their own physicality while navigating the poetic tension between freedom and constraint.
